It’s now clear that the Board of Supervisors would prefer to blame the police for the problems on our sidewalks, rather than help them with a Civil Sidewalks (Sit/Lie) Ordinance.
Fortunately, Mayor Newsom is going to put it on November’s ballot!.
So, if you want to:
- stop enabling people to lead self-destructive lives on our sidewalks
- support San Francisco’s small businesses
- make our streets safer and more friendly for San Francisco’s families and visitors
then please join the Civil Sidewalks campaign. We’ve seen how organized the opposition is, so let’s show that the silent majority can do the same.
